What is a CSA?

CSA or ”Community Supported Agriculture” is a member based program where the member joins winter or early spring before the busy growing season. Their payment helps our farm buy seeds, soil and other supplies needed to support the farm for that following year. Our flower CSA works the same as many vegetable CSA’s work. In return for their investment, members will receive a locally grown bouquet, biweekly, for the duration of the flower CSA share. These lush, hand tied bouquets are all hand-picked and harvested within days of when each member receives their share. Therefore, they are extremely fresh and last much longer than flowers you may find in supermarkets where they would be shipped into the US from outside countries.

Where & when will I get my share?

The Flower CSA will begin the second Wednesday of July and continue every other Wednesday (biweekly) for 4 weeks. You can pick up your flowers here at the farm or if you're a member of the Fitness Farmacy you can also arrange to pick it up there.

Why?

Ability to support local! A CSA allows each member to have a connection with their local farmer. Trust that each bouquet is grown sustainably with organic practices in mind. In addition, flowers are a great way to feed the soul and will be enjoyed all summer.
